BetAmerica has become the latest online casino operator to enter the Pennsylvanian market, just a few days after FanDuel unveiled the state’s sixth online casino.
The online operator began a soft launch process for their Pennsyvlania operations on Tuesday, and this was completed according to the relevant rules and regulations, by Thursday, which has enabled BetAmerica to launch their online casino in time for the Super Bowl on Sunday.
The addition of online sites from FanDuel and BetAmerica means that online casino fans in Pennsylvania are able to enjoy games and betting opportunities provided by eight different operators. The list includes Unibet, PokerStars and SugarHouse. Rush Street Interactive, the operator of SugarHouse, has also launched an online casino associated with its BetRivers sportsbook app.
At launch the BetAmerica online casino included over 40 online slots games, as well as four online roulette titles and a blackjack game. The company say that their range of games will grow larger over time, as they hope to build up the casino operation to the extent that it can rival the size of the online casinos that have been operating in the Pennsylvania market for a longer period.
But their range of games at launch was still larger than many. For comparison, FanDuel’s online casino offered just 12 online slots titles and five table games.
The casino launch is in addition to the BetAmerica online sportsbook, which is one of the biggest in the state, launched last month in conjunction with casino operator Presque Isle Downs and Casino in Erie. BetAmerica also operates the Presque land-based retail sportsbook. As yet, there are no BetAmerica mobile apps, but the company says it plans to introduce these when it earns the necessary regulatory approval from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
